Eliza Davis Washington, age 99, was recently recognized by Florida A&M University on August 4, 2017 on the anniversary of her 75th year of graduation from the university (Class of 1942). Mrs. Washington is a retired Home Economics teacher who began her career at Frederick Douglass High School in Key West, before teaching for many years at (the old and new) Chisholm Jr/Sr High/Seventh Grade Center in New Smyrna Beach Florida. Not only is Mrs. Washington, "Old School" as her t-shirt proudly proclaims, but she's still looking good doing it.
