Candelaria Herrera was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week.
It was the third time this season, the 6-1 native of San
Juan, Argentina earned the honor.
Herrera led FAMU with 25 kills in two match victories over
the weekend against North Carolina Central (3-0) on Friday, and North Carolina
A&T (3-0) on Sunday.
