As a brand, McDonald’s is committed to being deeply rooted in the community. This is the fourth scholarship the brand is giving this year (totaling $40,000) to well-deserving students to help cover higher education expenses, such as tuition, room, board and books, that can sometimes hinder students from achieving graduation. The scholarship is one way the Golden Arches supports educational empowerment through its True to the HBCU program.
