Work on Bragg Memorial Stadium's facelift for health and safety upgrade to the 67-year-old stadium are well underway with the demolition and removal of the east side stadiums' bleachers and floor pan  nearly complete.  The stadium upgrades to current code will be  done in two phases with the east side scheduled to be completed in time for the 2021 football season, and work on the stadium's west side commencing after the Rattlers’ last home game.

Ram Construction & Development, the contractor, is taking great care to preserve the old stadium floor plan to allow for recycling.  The contractor is also limiting its footprint to allow maximum use of the stadium field and west side stands during construction.

The stadium was last renovated in 1982, 39-years ago, at a total cost of $4.2 million. The total expected cost of the repairs currently underway is estimated at $11,695,000.
