FAMU ramping up online certificate programs

The FAMU Office of Continuing Education and Professional Development has begun offering a robust suite of new online certificate programs aimed at increasing the skillset and earning potential of mid-career professionals from around the world.   The programs allow individuals to enhance their skills without having to leave home.
 
Among the new programs are:  a certificate in Facebook Digital Marketing, which once completed would lead to a jobs with an average salary of $53,293; Project Management certificate (avg. salary $152,227), certificate in Computer Hacking Forensics Investigators ($85,000-$120,000) and a 4-week Women and Leadership certificate tailored toward empowering women with the skills necessary to navigate the workplace.
 
Those pursuing the online digital marketing certificate will learn how to develop strategies for digital marketing, digital branding, social media and content marketing; manage digital assets; create and manage compelling content across digital platforms; establish an effective digital brand presence; and connect with online customers and communities. 
 
The Asana Project Management Certificate will equip students with hands-on experience in project management and prepare them for the Project Management Institute’s Certified Associate in Project Management® (CAPM®) exam. The program requires no prerequisites.
 
The online certificates are an affordable and accessible option to allow job seekers and workers to add skills remotely, enter the workforce quickly, or transition into a new career.
