Volleyball team drops three games at UAB Invitational

FAMU’s volleyball team’s 2023 season got off to a rough start after dropping to two games at the University Alabama Birmingham to Austin Peay State (1-3), on Friday, and to the University of Buffalo (1-3) on Saturday afternoon.
 
Against Austin Peay, the Rattlers won the first set 25-18, but came up short in the last three sets falling 18-25, 21-25, and 21-25.
  
Against Buffalo, the Rattlers scored 20-25 in set one, 25-20 in set two, 23-25 in set three, and 13-25 in the final set.
 
Update:  FAMU dropped its afternoon game to host UAB 3 sets to 2.  The match scores were 9-25, 25-20, 25-21, 23-25, 14-16.  The lady Rattlers are now 0-3 on the season.
