Do we know why the enrollment is down?
ReplyDeleteSince the President's best interest is FAMU, then why is she still hiring incompetent leaders and paying them six figues while FAMU GOOD DEDICATED, COMPETENT, SMART WITH ALL THE CREDENTIALS employees are still lagging behind in comparative salaries?
ReplyDeleteWILL SOMEONE PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS MATTER OR GIVE LEGAL ADVISE TO THESE GREAT EMPLOYEES?
MAYBE THE BOT, GOVERNOR OR EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY NEEDS TO GET INVOLVED.
student recruitment program shut down by Gainous and Castell
ReplyDeleteFred Gainous DID NOT shut down the recruitment program. He dropped the ball on getting National Achievement Scholars, but he supported Bill McCrary and the Office of Recruitment/Scholarship and let them do their jobs. Enrollment increased during both full years that Gainous was in office.
ReplyDeleteWhen Castell came to power in January 2005, she immediately shut down the recruitment program and replaced it with nothing (see Roosevelt Wilson's commentary on the matter in the Capital Outlook online archives). That is what caused the rapid drop in enrollment.
On behalf of the faculty and staff at FAMU:
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU MR. WILSON for carrying the torch; continuing to speak out when no one else wil; and for trying to get justice for all of us at FAMU.
Ditto!
