President James Ammons continued to make his rounds visiting with FAMU Alumni, throughout the nation. Friday night he visited with Alumni from Washington, DC and the NE Region at a reception in suburban Maryland, and was a presented a check for $45,000 from the Washington, DC Chapter. We are told, other chapters, and individuals, kicked in several thousand more to make Ammons' first visit to the area well worth the trip.
RN sources tell us that nearly 100 DC area Rattlers braved pouring rain to meet the new president.

Wow! Is it not simply AMAZING what true, real, and honest-to-God leadership can do? (Not to bring up old stuff here, but I can't help it...I hope CVB is listening and reading. She oughts to be ashamed of how she behaved while she was at FAMU, but we know, of course, that the woman has no heart or conscience, so therefore, she is not ashamed. But I'm ashame for her.)
ReplyDeleteWay to go DC Rattlers, always doing BIG things!

ReplyDeletehas anyone seen the Most Valuable Employee awards pic on the famu.edu page?
ReplyDeletei saw it, and i saw where dr. willie williams in the english dept was given an award. what a sham. i've taken two classes from her and i know for a fact that she never comes to class, does nothing by BS when she's there and teaches absolutely nothing. the colleague who nominated her must be a friend. i hardly see any students who would write such a thing. she was a terrible teacher, but I got an A just for coming, so i gues i have no right to complain.
How can this positive donation bring out such negativity...

Good questions....
some folks just look for anything to complain about, because they just enjoy hearing the sound of their own grumbles.
