Alfred “Al” Lawson won the Democratic nomination for U.S. House District 2.

Rep. Dwight Bullard, son of State Sen. Larcenia Bullard, was victorious in his campaign for the Democratic nomination for his mother’s seat in Florida Senate District 39.

Bobby Powell (pictured), a former member of the FAMU track team, won the Democratic nomination for State House District 88. He will not face any challengers in the general election.

Andrew Gillum was reelected to Tallahassee City Commission Seat 2.

Keon Hardemon made the runoff in the race for Miami-Dade County Commission District 3.

Torey Alston made the runoff in his bid for Broward County School Board District 5.
