FAMU "all clear" after bomb robot investigates suspicious item

The FAMU Department of Public Safety says that the university is "all clear" after following a bomb robot's examination of a suspicious item on the campus.

FAMU police sent an emergency text at 12:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon announcing that they were investigating a questionable object that was near Okaloosa Street and Wahnish Way.

The Tallahassee Police Department's Hazardous Devices Team and Leon County Sheriff's Office came to FAMU's assistance. FAMU police cleared the scene at 2:40 p.m.
