This morning, FAMU Head Football Coach Joe Taylor  announced his intention to step downafter five seasons. Taylor broke the news to his team this morning in Greensboro, N.C. just prior to the Rattlers' game against NC A&T.

Taylor's contract with FAMU is set to expire in December. And with the Rattlers' record at 3-5, many fans had been calling for his resignation. But Taylor said those complaints did not factor into his decision.

Going into today's game, Taylor's Rattlers have compiled a record of 35 wins against 18 losses.  Taylor is 233-95 overall.

  1. After this embarrassing loss to NCAT, we should remove him NOW! FAMU shouldn't allow him to lose another homecoming or classic. With him at the helm, losing both of those is a certainty!

    TAYLOR SHOULD BE REMOVED NOW!
