Bullard urges students to become social architects

Yesterday, FAMU alumnus Dwight M. Bullard delivered the keynote address for the 2015 FAMU Black History Convocation.

Bullard, who represents Senate District 39 in the Florida Legislature, spoke on theme the “Be A Social Architect and Not A Social Parasite!” He urged FAMU students to use their education to become social architects who give back to the world instead of joining the social parasites who are only concerned about themselves.

FAMU President Elmira Mangum presented Bullard with the President’s Award after his speech.
