Lawson reelected chair of FAMU Board of Trustees

Yesterday, the Florida A&M University Board of Trustees (BOT) reelected Kelvin Lawson to another two year term as its chair.

Lawson became acting chair on May 12, 2016 and was then elected to a full term on June 10, 2016. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the FAMU School of Business and Industry and currently works as a vice president at Acosta Sales and Marketing.

On January 5, 2018, Gov. Rick Scott reappointed Lawson to a term that is set to end on January 6, 2021.
