J-School to host Media Sales Institute

The School of Journalism and Graphic Communication beat out 10 other HBCU journalism programs for the right to host the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation and the National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters Media Sales Institute. The media sales institute is scheduled to be held at FAMU from May 15-24. The institute is a 10-day, intensive-training program for graduating college seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in media sales.
College of Education honors Faculty
The College of Education hosted the Gallery of Distinction Gala to publicly recognize individuals who have distinguished themselves as educators and have significantly contributed to the Florida A&M University College of Education. This year the college recognized five educators--Ada Puryear Burnette; Anne Richardson Gayles-Felton; Reginald James; Walter Mercer; and Walter H. White.
