Da Rattler, is there any relationship between the Hollins Group (based in Chicago), Lowe (MBA at Northwestern which is in chicago) and the new dean of the business school (Masters in Marketing from the University of Chicago)
That's why it just makes me mad as hell that this irresponsible, JUCO destruction team is tearing apart our university. The recruitment program is gone. And now, it seems as if we might take another black eye in the media because of the SACS debacle. A bad report from SACS could send enrollment down even lower.
If the current trends continue, FAMU will take a very quick fall down this list in the very near future.
I still don't think a lot of people get it. FAMU is DYING! That's why I continue to support RN. Don't let the group in Lee Hall kill us off without a fight.
As Claude McKay said:
If we must die, let it not be like hogs Hunted and penned in an inglorious spot, While round us bark the mad and hungry dogs, Making their mock at our accursed lot. If we must die, O let us nobly die, So that our precious blood may not be shed In vain; then even the monsters we defy Shall be constrained to honor us though dead! O kinsmen we must meet the common foe! Though far outnumbered let us show us brave, And for their thousand blows deal one deathblow! What though before us lies the open grave? Like men we'll face the murderous, cowardly pack, Pressed to the wall, dying, but fighting back!

ReplyDeleteWe must not die like hogs
hunted and penned in an inglorious spot.
We must televize the revolution.
