Members of the FAMU NAA Leon County Chapter are partnering with the Smith-Williams Center in the "Bond" community for its monthly Cultural Day activities, Wednesday, August 9, to promote healty living among Tallahassee area senior citizens.. The theme for the event is “You and Your Health”.The event will feature health screenings by medical faculty and students, as well as interactive games and activities. Sheila Warren, regional director of Hospice Services, will speak to seniors on the federal Medicaid initiative.
The Leon County FAMU alumni chapter will provide a free lunch to all participants.
