If FAMU trustees are serious about hiring a new president - which many doubt they are. In addition to sifting through applications, they must also starting preparing for a smooth transition of leadership.

  1. When Charlie Crist appoints Castell to his transition team, you will know just how devious the plan to destroy FAMU is.

Nothing short of taking to the streets will stop these thugs in suits and ties. The end of FAMU is their goal.

  2. Some days, it looks like outsiders don't need any more help in destroying FAMU than FAMU automatically gives them.

What is there about this place that it goes into auto-self-destruct mode so often?

FAMU doesn't need for FSU to take it over and run it. FAMU needs for FAMU to take it over and run it.

  3. How do you propose going about doing just that? Especially since the process for getting a qualified president at FAMU is the last thing on anyone's priority list.

We have had five years of political appointees -- to send us into auto self-destruct mode so often my head is spinning.

  4. The BOT is as about serious as hiring a new president as I am about NOT leaving FAMU real soon.

  5. Do you really trust this BOT to select a high quality next President of FAMU? Remember, the Holmes-Corbin connection selected Gainous. Now this same board, being run by Corbin behind the scenes, will select a "permanent" president? Gov-elect Crist needs to re-shuffle the FAMU BOT with a quickness. Anyone with ties to James Corbin MUST GO! Challis Lowe...GOTTA GO!
