  1. Right on Dr. Bryant! It seems as though Carolyn Roberts could give a damn about FAMU's success. She gave us Cast-hell, Lowe and now wants to throw us to the wolves.

  3. well that should seal the deal. Great job Bryant. Let's see if the BOG is going to stick it to us despite the facts. We're on probation, you can't risk it now.

  4. I agree with the above. Bryant who are you listening to? Please make sure that when you make statements it is for the good of the majority of the alumni, not for your and a few others personal agenda. It could cost us the was WAR.

When in a fight, BE SMART not STUPID. Where was your fight after it was discovered early on about CASSY & Co.

    Give us a break.

  5. 11:30AM: Dr. Bryant has been in this fight all along the way- even when fellow alumni tried to undermine him with the election crap. And he IS on point with this letter to the BOG chair. There are those of us that know the players on the BOG and what their agenda is where FAMU is concerned.

A leader does not have to be loud and obnoxious to let people know that he/she's a leaders. Their actions speak for themselves. That's the mark of a professional and disciplined individual.

Maybe you're the one who need to either give someone a break, or try taking a break from your constant slights.

  6. What's the next move Dr. Bryant since the BOG selected Mr. Brown as a trustee? How does this look to SACS or is there anyway SACS can instruct the BOG to reconsider Mr. Brown since there seems to be a conflict of interest?

Thanks Dr. Bryant for your leadership, foresight, and initiative in bringing this to the forefront.

And as for 11:30am? What are you doing to solve this issue other than pointing fingers and complain? Shut up and let those persons "elected" to represent FAMU alumni do their job.

The legislative committee on higher ed has to approve the appointments and the governor has to sign off on them. So you know who to write to in order to voice your displeasure. Get the word out.

I hope Charlie Crist didn't come all this way with us to let us be hamstrung with a "yessuh boss" like Brown. This guy worked for Nixon, Reagan, and GW Bush. Need I say more?

  8. So since the BOG elected this Brown person, how much longer for his nomination filters up to Gov. Crist?

Any word on what's the next step? Prayer helps, if it's for not getting him on the board it can be for him doing the right thing with FAMU.

  9. Here we go again. Dr. Bryant need to raise some damn money and get some damn members. Our NAA is awful, awful, awful. Attendance at conferences are week, paid membership is a measly 2000 nationally, and there seems to be no real visions. All this guy can do is complain. I will admit, he has done a good job at complaining. But as for leading, awful.

  10. Dr. Bryant doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. USF was put on probation this past December 2006. Dah!!!
