The SC State Bulldogs racked up 611 yards in total offense enroute to a 49-14 victory over the Rattlers before a crowd of 21,500 in Orangeburg, SC this afternoon.The Bulldogs set a new total offense record against the Rattlers and improved to 3-3 on the season, while the Rattlers fell to 2-4.
The Rattlers face the Spartans(5-1) of Norfolk State on Thursday in Bragg Stadium.

ReplyDeleteI think what happened (with me, when I looked at the responses) is that on the second image, where the question (in black lettering) is just above the poll image, I was responding, memory-wise, to that question (and not to the original question which accomodates the first image (where folks get asked the question). Maybe that other question--the one preceding the second image--should be removed. Lord, have mercy; this is too much. (I hope I'm making sense here.)

ReplyDeleteNorfolk State has a nice squad. They beat Hampton today. Carter was 6-5 his 1st year and 7-4 his second year. I don't think its time for him to go yet. Things do need to take a dramatic turn for the better next year though.

ReplyDeleteThis is 1:54 speaking. Billy Joe ran a Rogue Football Program. I believe he would have played known drug dealers, rapists, and murderers if they could help him win. He looked the other way instead of confronting unethical, unlawful behavior in his football program. The truth will come out and he will be expelled from FAMU's Hall of Fame. Billy Joe is the main cause of the pathetic state of our football program right now. Coach Carter is trying to clean up the mess that was left behind by Billy Joe, including some of the joke football players and coaches. Support Coach Carter and rid the program of Billy Joe's ghost.

He was a poor recruiter (look at the number of walkons that started for him), his teams were undisciplined, some of his coaches were thugs, and he fooled many FAMUANS into believing that he was handicapped by the administration. The truth is, the administration was aware of his corrupt football program and did something about it.

ReplyDeleteEverybody is using Billy Joe's model for bringing in players and killing us with it. Yeah, he was the worse at recruiting. The D-1 move is a big reason why we're where we are and Corbin, Ray Matthews,Sr. and Jr., and Al Chester, Sr. and of course, Cast-Hell. We dominated the MEAC every year,now we can barely beat those same teams. They got smart and realized what BJ was doing ten years ago. They're getting better and we've gotten worse. Billy's players are all but gone and we're seeing the results. Let's get rid of all traces of the Corbin and Cast-Hell regime once and for all!
ReplyDeleteIf Billy was such a joke of a coach, why is he the only black college coach to take a team to the semi-finals of the 1-AA playoffs? The only other coach to go as far as a Billy Joe coached team was Rudy Hubbard and he won it the very first year the championship existed under a very different playoff format. Billy was a great coach who ran into a bunch of fools who tried to destroy FAMU and literally destroyed his program. Now these same idiots who helped bring Carter in as head coach are turning on him like his name was Fred Gainous. Remember him? These nuts did the same thing to him, too.
