Happy Easter! As christians around the world celebrate the resurrection of the risen Christ, this photo by captured this past January by Seattle based photographer Andrew Adam Caldwell is most appropriate.
Oh, my gosh... we are in 2008! You could not have found a JESUS that look like YOU or anything that remotely look like what the bible states "BRONZE SKIN" and Wholly hair? It would have been not so offensive if you had just placed a CROSS in the pic.
You are correct 12:23pm. The key word "in our own image." The author of the Rattler Nation is BLACK! I applaud 1:47/8:45/9:26 am for loving who you are, being proud of your heritage and pointing out the true image of the bible. Naysayers always defend those that truly depicted what the bible states with words such as "regardless" or its a nice pic. Would he/she feel the same if the pic was in a black image? Apparently, 12:23 is still brainwashed, it is my hope that the shackles will be removed.
In addition, this is why "they" can't see Obama as President.
Jesus was born into a nice Jewish family. I think he looked more like Seinfield with the bushy hair - maybe Seinfield with a tan. Most middle eastern Jews are darker toned then the New York Jews.
What would Jesus do? He would celebrate Purim this weekend and then Passover in a few weeks. Easter was celebrated during his time, but it was a pagan celebration to honor the fertility gods and goddesses.
The most important thing is that he is alive and he is coming back to judge your oppressors.
