Soriano receives third consecutive MEAC Rookie of the Week honor

Pamela Soriano has received the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference’s Rookie of the Week honor. This marks the third straight week Soriano was tabbed the league’s top first-year player.

Soriano, a 5-10 freshman outside hitter from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) totaled 36 kills, 10 digs, and two aces to help FAMU defeat North Carolina A&T and Savannah State. She had a season-high 21 kills in a 3-0 victory against Savannah State.
