Sam Houston, longtime former FAMU administrator dies

Samuel Houston, who for many years served as director of facilities planning and construction at FAMU, passed away on December 27, 2019.  He was 68 years-old.
During his tenure at FAMU, Houston over saw the construction of the Al Lawson Multipurpose Center,  the Tookes Center,  new Pharmacy Building, the remodeling of Tucker Hall, and many other facilities.   

Funeral services for Houston will be held on Saturday, January 11 at the Old West Florida Enrichment Center at 2 p.m.
