The FAMU men's tennis team, which is slated to be eliminated at the end of this current fiscal year, fell to Florida Atlantic in the morning contest, 4-0, and followed that with a 4-0 loss to the University of Louisiana Lafayette at the Althea Gibbon Courts on campus.
The Rattlers will return to the courts on Saturday with a match at Florida State. First serve is set for 3 p.m.
Basketball set for home opener
The Rattler mens' basketball team (2-10) will face-off against Morgan State this afternoon in its home opener at 4 p.m. in the Al Lawson Center. The Rattlers have been on the road for 12 games since November 5, 2019.
