On Friday, Gov. Rick Scott announced the reappointment of Torey L. Alston of Fort Lauderdale to the Board of Trustees, Florida A&M University.Alston, 26, is the chief of staff for Broward County Commissioner Barbara Sharief and is reappointed for a term beginning February 4, 2011, and ending January 6, 2015.
The appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
