While this year's Thanksgiving is vastly different from those of years past with the many historic challenges we have faced from extended shutdowns to remote learning to face masks and temperature checks.
As Rattlers, there are many things to be thankful for. We don't give up. We take advantage of the moments we have to make better tomorrows. We celebrate each other, and we celebrate together and support each other when times are tough. That's who we are. That's always who we should strive to be.
We are resilient. We are the Rattler Nation.
So while we can not all be together, we cherish the memories of our time together to relish what life has given rather than curse what has been taken away.
We are reminded of those words from that great Roman poet, Horace, "Cease to inquire what the future has in store and take as a gift whatever the day brings forth." Enjoy your gift Rattlers. And remember that even when there are "dark clouds''..... Rattlers Will!
