For 30 years, teams of students from HBCUs have competed head-to-head in a Jeopardy style competition to match wits to see who can answer tough questions the quickest at the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge (HCASC). Since the competition’s inception, FAMU’s team has made it to the national championship tournament every year winning the top prize seven times.
Outside of game play, participants in the HCASC engage in community service activities and are provided with leadership, networking and mentorship opportunities.
This year 48 HBCU teams were selected for the national championship tournament, and a chance to claim the top prize and $75,000. The tournament gets underway today and runs through Tuesday. Games will be streamed live at HCASC.com
