Atlanta Rattlers donate $74,225 to FAMU athletics.

FAMU athletics’ eleven city “Strike Tour 21” raised $502,066 for athletic
scholarships, academic support, enhanced sports performance and nutrition, recruiting, and facilities enhancements to give the program a competitive edge. The tour included stops in Jacksonville, Polk County, Orlando, Tampa, Tallahassee, Ft. Lauderdale, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Washington, DC, and Atlanta organized by the local FAMU NAA chapters.

Dallas Rattlers raise $52,000.
Attendees at each stop heard the latest news on the upcoming seasons from AD Kortne Gosha, and coaches, and got to participate in live auctions on football helmets, jerseys, and other authentic FAMU athletic memorabilia.

“We’re excited to finally get out and connect in person with our fans,” said athletic director Gosha. “We love our fan base and we love sharing our vision for FAMU athletics, whenever and where ever.”

FAMU NAA President Greg Clark said, the tour has grown since it was first started in 2018 in which they visited a handful of cities and raised a little over $150,000 to raising over a half million dollars this year.  He credited the tour’s growth, and success, to the love and generosity of Rattlers everywhere.
