The Bragg Stadium press box has stood the test of time and has seen a lot of football in its 68 years.

Old press box has been demolished.
The old press box which was last renovated and expanded in the early 80s has been demolished to make way for a new, more modern and spacious two-story version that will have room for expansion to add four private suites available for rental.

The new box will still be a modular steel press box, like its predecessor.

It will feature a larger athletic director's suite, president’s suite, and a visiting AD's suite.  It will have more restrooms, and updated technology equipment.

To accommodate more guests the president’s box will extend out into the top three rows of the of the stadium.  The box’s elevator will be replaced.

The new press box is part of the ongoing $8 million renovation of Bragg Stadium's westside to correct health and safety issues, and the $12 million renovation of the stadium which began last year.   FAMU received $10 million in funding from the Tallahassee/Leon County Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency in 2020 to fund the stadium improvements. Nearly four million dollars was spent to renovate the east side of Bragg last summer.  Work on the westside is expected to be completed by September 9th just in time for the Rattlers' first home football game.
